True Bearings was founded by Michael Harmon, a U.S. military veteran with a lifelong connection to the water. After years of service, Michael set his sights on building something of his own — a business rooted in the same values that defined his time in uniform: reliability, integrity, and genuine care for the people he serves.
The idea behind True Bearings is simple: private yacht charters shouldn't be reserved for the ultra-wealthy. With the right vessel and the right approach, this kind of experience can be made accessible to more people — families celebrating milestones, couples looking for something memorable, groups of friends who want a day unlike any other.
We're currently in our prelaunch phase, finalizing the vessel, departure marina, and all the details that go into running a charter operation the right way. We're not cutting corners to launch faster. When True Bearings opens for reservations, it'll be ready.
